Dog Racing Minus the Gambling

Alpacafest was great, since it's really hard to be in a bad mood with that much cute around. Today (Saturday) there's more cute in store, but it's got the benefit of not requiring the long drive.

This year's edition of the Seattle Pug Gala is just about guaranteed to plaster a grin on your face. Featuring a costume contest and pug racing (really), along with vendors and raffles, the Pug Gala promises good clean family fun. The whole event is a benefit for Seattle Pug Rescue, which rehabilitates and places pugs in need, so you can know that your attendance fee is going to a good cause.
